Authentic Strength Fitness & Performance Center was created in response to the ongoing need for actual results. Seeing the ineffectiveness of traditional gyms and their training methods, Authentic Strength was formed not only as an alternative, but as a solution.
While your experience at Authentic Strength will differ in many ways when compared to most gyms, we would like to point out a couple of key differences in our services and training methods.
First, we are a results-driven facility. This means we don't simply want you to have a gym membership, we want you to actually achieve the results you desire, live healthy, and have an improved quality of life. And we believe that the best way to achieve this, is by having a plan. It can be very frustrating, not to mention unmotivating, to go to the gym each week with no real, designed plan of achieving results. We know time and energy are your most valuable assets; don't waste either one by not getting results out of your gym membership.
Second, we don't take lightly the fact that we give advice and instruction concerning your health and physical well being. The exercises we teach, strategies we employ, and equipment we use are all based on education and experience. We very strongly believe in proper and pain-free movement as the basis of your training. Every member, regardless of specific goals, is taken through a full movement screen as the basis of their program design. We propose (for all ages and abilities) that you must be able to maintain (or regain) a certain level of movement quality in order to perform the most beneficial types of exercise and to make a positive impact on your quality of life.
Johnny has worked as a fitness coach and trainer for over 12 years. Prior to opening Authentic Strength,
Nate has worked as a strength coach and trainer for the past 10 years. Prior to opening Authentic Strength, Nate's experience includes coaching for several fitness and performance centers in the private sector as well as two NCAA DI sports performance programs.
David has a true desire to see others excel in their physical capabilities and well-being. Stemming from David’s own accomplishments, this desire has not only led him to work as full-time coach, but into one of the most knowledgeable and practical coaches around. David has a far-reaching background in many physical endeavors, from football and martial arts, to credible success in powerlifting and Strongman competition.
